MyStore is the operations workspace StoreClaw provides for each connected store. Use it to identify issues that need attention, start tasks for specific products or accounts, turn recurring work into scheduled tasks, and review the results over time.
When you enter a store, StoreClaw uses its available details, brand information, and connected accounts to understand your request. You can ask, "Analyze this store's performance over the last 7 days," or use @ to select a product, file, or social account and make the task's subject more specific.
For your first visit, follow these four steps: Connect a store -> Run an initial diagnostic -> Act on one recommendation -> Set up ongoing monitoring.
1. Connect and Open Your Store
- Choose the option to add a store in StoreClaw, or open Plugins and select the relevant ecommerce platform Plugin.
- Follow the instructions to connect and authorize your account.
- Once connected, select the store under MyStore to open its workspace.
- On later visits, select the store under MyStore to continue working or review related chats.
If you manage multiple stores, make sure you have opened the correct store before starting an analysis or creating a task. Each store has its own workspace.
For connection instructions, see the Connectors guide.
2. Run Your First Store Diagnostic
On your first visit, the workspace shows a diagnostic entry point suited to the store type. Click Try it now to start a chat and run the diagnostic.
| Store type | Initial diagnostic | What it helps you understand |
|---|---|---|
| Independent stores, such as Shopify and Genstore | Store SEO diagnostic | Issues affecting search visibility, organic traffic, and conversion, along with optimization priorities |
| Marketplace stores, such as Amazon | Product performance and inventory risk scan | Listing performance, price competitiveness, inventory health, sales changes, and potential stockout risks |
| Content commerce stores, such as TikTok Shop | Product, content, and conversion journey diagnostic | Promising products, livestream and short-video opportunities, creator partnership gaps, and conversion drop-off points |
You can also describe the diagnostic you need directly in the input box:
Check this store's product performance and inventory risks. List the 3 most important issues in priority order.
Diagnostics use the data currently available. If data is missing or another account connection is needed, follow the instructions in the chat to provide it. After the report is ready, ask follow-up questions about an issue or choose a recommended next step.
3. Review Performance and Work on Products
Use the overview on the right side of the workspace to check the store's recent performance and open its product list. This area helps you review data, spot issues, and start optimization tasks during everyday work.
Review Business Metrics
The business metrics section shows key indicators for the current store. For example, Genstore stores show units sold, sales revenue, orders, and units refunded over the last 7 days. Available metrics, reporting periods, and trends depend on the platform and what the page displays.
Click the performance analysis button to start an analysis for the current store, explore changes in business metrics, and get next-step recommendations. For example:
Analyze this store's performance over the last 7 days. Highlight changes that deserve attention and suggest improvements.
Find Products and Start Optimization Tasks
The Products area lets you view the store's products and start a task for a specific item.
- Open Products and find the item by name, product ID, or status.
- Move your pointer over the product and choose an action from the StoreClaw Optimization menu, such as product description optimization, competitor tracking, product diagnostics, product image generation, or product video generation. Available actions depend on the current platform's menu.
- StoreClaw adds the product to the input box and prefills the relevant prompt. Review or expand the request, then send it to start the task.
Review the Brand Profile and File Library
The Brand Profile on the right summarizes brand and business information from store data, helping you understand the context available for your chats. The file library shows files produced by store-related tasks so you can revisit reports and reuse existing assets.
4. Start Chats with Store, Product, and Account Context
Ask About the Current Store
Inside a store workspace, "this store" refers to the current store by default. StoreClaw uses available store details and business information to carry out tasks; the data available varies by platform.
Try requests such as:
Analyze this store's sales changes over the last 7 days, identify the products contributing most to those changes, and suggest next steps.
Use the store's brand information to create a content plan for this product launch.
You can also provide campaign plans, target audiences, or tone requirements in the chat to explain the context for the task.
Use @ to Select a Specific Item
When a task involves a product, file, or business account, use @ to reference it.
- Type
@in the input box to open the search panel. - Continue typing the item's name to find matching results.
- Click the intended result. If using the keyboard, make sure the intended item is highlighted before pressing Enter.
- Confirm that the item appears as a tag in the input box, then add your request and send it.
Typing a name followed by a space does not complete the selection. A selected item appears as a single tag. If you select the wrong item, delete the entire tag and choose again.
| Item | How to use it | Scope |
|---|---|---|
| Product | Type @ followed by the product name, then select the product |
Products in the current store only |
| File | Type @ followed by a file name and select a file; you can also choose Add file to upload one or Browse Library in the search panel |
Library files are searchable; access to local files depends on the app and connected directories |
| Plugin account | Type @ followed by an account name and select a social or other business account |
Excludes ecommerce store accounts; select ecommerce stores through their store entry points |
For example, select a product tag and then enter:
Write 3 versions of an Instagram post for this product. Highlight its use cases and keep the store's brand voice.
Select Plugin Accounts
In addition to typing @, you can select an account through Plugins:
- Open Plugins to view the Plugin list.
- Open a connected Plugin to view its accounts.
- Find the account you want to use and click the chat icon in its Actions column to add it to the input box as a reference tag.
If the Plugin is not installed, click the + button on its card to install it, then connect your store.
5. Choose Your Next Step from Recommendations
The MyStore workspace shows recommendations based on the store type and previous activity.
When you first start, you will see featured tasks suited to the platform, such as product optimization, asset creation, or business analysis. Select a task card, review and complete the form, and start the task. You can also use the recommendation area's settings to reorder categories and place frequently used ones first.
Some fields are prefilled from store information or previously saved values. Check them before submitting. Business analysis cards use the current store; switch workspaces first if you want to analyze a different store.
As chats and scheduled tasks accumulate, the recommendation area shows completed results and suggested follow-up work.
Recommended Actions
When you open MyStore, StoreClaw recommends tasks based on your store's situation.
| Recommendation | What you see | What happens when you select it |
|---|---|---|
| A scheduled task that completed successfully today | Task name, result summary, and View | Opens the corresponding chat at the result for that run |
| A suggested next step | Suggestion name, task preview, Try it now, and a Suggestion label | Starts a new chat to work on the suggestion |
| A suggested recurring task | Task name, preview, Create, and a Recurring label | Opens a prefilled creation window for you to review and confirm |
For example, a sales analysis may lead to a recommendation to investigate changes for a group of products. An operations review may lead to a suggestion to run it every day.
Manage Recommendations
Dismiss a recommendation you do not need using its close button. StoreClaw adds other recommendations when they are available.
Results you have viewed and next-step suggestions you have started are removed from the recommendation list. When no personalized recommendations are available, featured tasks are shown instead. You can choose one or enter your own request.
6. Turn Recurring Work into Scheduled Tasks
Create scheduled tasks within the current store for recurring work such as daily business reports, inventory checks, or periodic reviews.
Option 1: Create Through Chat
After an analysis, tell StoreClaw what you want repeated and how often. For example:
Every day at 9:00 AM Beijing time (UTC+8), analyze this store's sales and inventory changes from the previous day. List the 3 most important issues and recommended actions.
Follow the prompts to confirm the instructions, frequency, and time. Run the task once to check that its output meets your needs before scheduling it.
Option 2: Use a Recommendation or Template
- Find a suggested scheduled task and click Create, or open Create task -> Start from template and choose a template for the current store.
- Review the prefilled instructions and adjust the frequency and time. Check the expiration and execution permissions, and choose a message channel if needed.
- Confirm and save.
Option 3: Set Up Manually
In the store workspace, click Create task and choose the manual setup option. Enter a task name and description, set the repeat frequency and run time, and review the expiration and execution permissions. If you want results delivered through a message channel, select one. Then click Create task.
The expiration setting controls when the task ends and can remain unlimited. Permissions offers Allow all actions and Always ask: the former lets trusted workflows execute without asking for approval each time, while the latter pauses execution for approval. Review the selected permission before creating the task, especially for work that publishes, modifies, or sends content. The message channel is optional.
These permissions are the scheduled task's own execution settings. They are a separate control from account approval policies on the Plugin detail page.
When creating a scheduled task from a store workspace, you do not need to select a project in the creation window. Make the current store and recurring work clear in the description. To schedule work for another store, open that store's workspace first.
After creation, you can edit, pause, re-enable, or delete the task on the scheduled task management page. See the Scheduled Tasks guide for details.
7. Review Schedules and Results in the Calendar
The store workspace uses a 7-day calendar to show scheduled tasks, helping you review completed work and upcoming activity.
The calendar distinguishes completed tasks from upcoming ones. Tasks that use a Plugin display the relevant platform or Plugin icon. Select a completed task to open its chat at the result for that run.
Task status affects what appears in the calendar:
| Task status | Calendar display |
|---|---|
| Enabled | Previous runs, if any, and upcoming runs within the current calendar range |
| Paused | Previous runs, if any, within the current calendar range; upcoming runs are no longer shown |
| Deleted | The task is no longer shown in the calendar |
If you have not created any scheduled tasks, the workspace shows an invitation to let StoreClaw monitor your store and recommended templates, such as daily business reports and inventory or stockout alerts. Start from a template or the Create task control, then review the schedule after creation.
8. Complete Example: From Inventory Checks to Daily Monitoring
Suppose you manage an Amazon store and want to monitor product inventory risks:
- Open the store: Select the Amazon store under MyStore and confirm the current account.
- Start a diagnostic. Click Try it now on the initial diagnostic, or ask, "Check this store's product performance and inventory risks, and list products that need attention in priority order."
- Investigate further. Ask about products identified in the results: "Use recent sales to explain why these products may run out of stock, and list any additional information needed."
- Schedule monitoring. Once the analysis is useful, ask, "Every day at 9:00 AM Beijing time (UTC+8), check these products' inventory risks and summarize changes from the previous day." Review the settings and create the task.
- Review results. After the scheduled run time, check its status in the store calendar. Open a completed run, read the result, and follow up on any issues.
This is an example workflow. The actual scope of analysis depends on platform data and granted permissions.
FAQ
Q: How Is MyStore Different from a Regular Project?
A: Regular projects organize tasks and materials around a topic. MyStore organizes work around a specific connected store, combining store details, business accounts, recommendations, and scheduled tasks for ongoing operations.
Q: Do I Need to Explain the Store's Background Every Time?
A: You do not need to identify the store again within the same store workspace. StoreClaw uses existing store information to understand the task. Add any campaign goals, new constraints, or information that has not yet been provided.
Q: Why Can't @ Find Products from Another Store?
A: Product references are limited to the current store. Switch to the appropriate store workspace to work with its products.
Q: Why Didn't Typing @ and a Name Create a Reference?
A: Click the intended search result. If using the keyboard, make sure the intended item is highlighted before pressing Enter. Confirm that a tag appears in the input box before sending. Typing a name followed by a space does not complete the reference.
Q: Why Do I Sometimes See Featured Tasks and Sometimes Personalized Suggestions?
A: Recommendations depend on available chat history, task results, and follow-up suggestions. Featured tasks appear when you are getting started or when no personalized content is available. As relevant activity accumulates, you will see results to review and suggested next steps.
Q: Where Can I Find a Result That Disappeared from Recommendations?
A: Viewed results are removed from the recommendation list. Return to the corresponding store chat to review them. For scheduled tasks still within the calendar's display range, you can also open the relevant run from the calendar.
Q: Why Aren't Upcoming Tasks Showing in the Calendar?
A: Check that a task has been created for the current store, that it is enabled, and that its next run falls within the current 7-day range. Paused tasks show only past runs, and deleted tasks are not shown in the calendar.
Q: Why Can't a Task Read the Data It Needs?
A: Check that you are in the correct store, that the required accounts are connected, and that the necessary permissions have been granted. Data from advertising or social platforms requires the corresponding Plugin accounts. A new store without historical data may not support some analyses. Follow the specific instructions in the chat before trying again.
Q: Do Scheduled Tasks Consume Credits?
A: Yes. Task execution consumes credits. Run the task once to understand its usage before choosing a frequency that suits your business needs. See the Scheduled Tasks guide for details.
Q: Will Selecting a Recommendation Immediately Change My Store or Publish Content?
A: Try it now starts the corresponding task. Whether it modifies or publishes anything depends on the task itself. Approval prompts depend on task permissions, account approval policies, and the risk of the operation. If a prompt appears, review the operation and authorization scope before proceeding. See Review and Approve Sensitive Operations for details.
