After you connect Mailchimp, StoreClaw can read your audiences, subscribers, campaigns, segments, and automation workflow data within the authorized scope for customer analysis, marketing performance review, and automated operations.
This guide explains how to connect Mailchimp to StoreClaw through OAuth and verify the connection status.
Before You Start
Before you begin, make sure the following conditions are met:
- You have a Mailchimp account and can sign in normally at https://mailchimp.com.
- The account you use has admin or owner permissions in Mailchimp.
- You have confirmed the data center prefix for your Mailchimp account, such as
us21. - You are signed in to StoreClaw.
Tip: If you are not sure what your Server Prefix is, check the browser address bar after signing in to Mailchimp. Usually, the prefix in the URL is your data center prefix. For example, in https://us21.admin.mailchimp.com/, us21 is the Server Prefix.

Process Overview
You can find the Mailchimp connector in either of the following ways:
- Enter
Help me connect Mailchimpin a new StoreClaw conversation. - Click Connectors in the left navigation, then find the Mailchimp connector card under Marketing.
The connection process is as follows:
- Click the + button on the Mailchimp connector card.
- In the connector dialog, click Connect Mailchimp.
- Enter the Server Prefix for your Mailchimp account. The default value is
us21. Update it based on your actual account. - Sign in to Mailchimp and complete OAuth authorization.
- Return to StoreClaw and confirm the connection status.
Security Note: StoreClaw only reads Mailchimp data within the scope you authorize for customer analysis, marketing performance review, and automation tasks. The connection process does not modify, delete, or publish your Mailchimp data.
Verify the Connection Status
After the connection is complete, you can verify the connection in the following ways:
- Go to the Connectors page and confirm that the Mailchimp card shows the Connected status.
- Enter a prompt in StoreClaw, such as
Show my Mailchimp email campaigns. - If StoreClaw returns Mailchimp data successfully, the connection is active.
If the connection fails, check whether the Server Prefix is correct, whether the Mailchimp account has sufficient permissions, and whether OAuth authorization was completed.
Disconnect Mailchimp
To stop StoreClaw from accessing Mailchimp data, follow these steps:
- Go to the Connectors page.
- Find the connected Mailchimp card.
- Click the card and select Disconnect in the dialog.
- Confirm the disconnection.
Note: After disconnection, StoreClaw will stop reading data from this Mailchimp account. Disconnecting Mailchimp will not delete any data from Mailchimp and will not affect historical analysis results already generated in StoreClaw.

FAQ
Q: Can I Connect Multiple Mailchimp Accounts?
A: No, StoreClaw only supports connecting one Mailchimp account.
Q: Will StoreClaw Modify My Mailchimp Data?
A: StoreClaw mainly reads Mailchimp data within the authorized scope for analysis and automation tasks. The connection process does not delete, publish, or bulk modify your Mailchimp data.
Q: Why Do I Need to Enter the Server Prefix?
A: Mailchimp uses different data centers for different accounts. The Server Prefix identifies the data center for your Mailchimp account, such as us21. If the value is incorrect, StoreClaw may not be able to access the authorized data.
Q: How Do I Find My Server Prefix?
A: Sign in to Mailchimp and check the browser address bar. Usually, the prefix in the URL is the Server Prefix. For example, in https://us21.admin.mailchimp.com/, us21 is the Server Prefix.
Q: What Should I Do if Authorization Fails?
A: Check whether the Server Prefix is correct, whether the Mailchimp account has sufficient permissions, whether you clicked Allow to complete authorization, and whether your network connection is stable. If the issue continues, disconnect and reconnect Mailchimp.
Q: Will Historical Data Be Deleted After Disconnection?
A: No. Disconnecting Mailchimp only stops StoreClaw from reading new Mailchimp data. It does not delete data from Mailchimp and does not affect historical analysis results already generated in StoreClaw.
Q: Does OAuth Authorization Expire?
A: In most cases, Mailchimp OAuth authorization can remain valid for a long time. If you revoke StoreClaw access in Mailchimp or the authorized account permissions change, the connection may become invalid. In that case, reconnect Mailchimp in StoreClaw.
