Channels let you connect StoreClaw to the communication platforms your team uses every day. After a channel is connected, you can send instructions to StoreClaw directly in Slack, Discord, or Feishu, and you can also send scheduled task results to a designated channel.
Supported platforms currently include Slack Bot, Discord Bot, and Feishu Bot. Slack and Discord use OAuth authorization. Feishu requires you to create an internal app in the Feishu Open Platform and then fill in the credentials manually.
Connect a Channel
Slack Bot / Discord Bot
- Click Channels in the left navigation.
- Find the card for the platform you want and click Connect.
- You will be redirected to the official authorization page. Confirm the correct workspace, then click Allow.
- After authorization, the page returns to StoreClaw automatically, and the card shows a green Connected status indicator.
Feishu Bot
Feishu requires you to manually create an internal app in the Feishu Open Platform, enable the bot capability, configure permissions and events, and then enter the credentials in StoreClaw. Because the setup is longer than Slack or Discord, we recommend following the dedicated guide:
If you only want a quick overview, the core flow is:
- Sign in to the Feishu Open Platform and open Developer Console.
- Create an internal app and enable the Bot capability.
- Add the required permissions in Permissions & Scopes and save them.
- Configure persistent connection and add the required message-related events.
- Copy the App ID and App Secret from Credentials & Basic Info.
- Return to the Channels page in StoreClaw and complete the Feishu setup.
What You Can Do After Connecting
Messaging channels support two-way interaction:
- Send instructions inside the platform: In a connected Slack, Discord, or Feishu channel, mention
@StoreClaw Botand enter your request. StoreClaw replies in that channel. - Receive scheduled task deliveries: After you set a delivery target in Scheduled Tasks, StoreClaw can send a summary or result file to the specified channel when the task completes.
Disconnect a Channel
On the Messaging Channels page, click Remove Configuration on a connected platform to revoke authorization. After it is disconnected, that platform can no longer receive StoreClaw deliveries or send instructions to StoreClaw. It is also a good idea to remove the StoreClaw Bot in the corresponding platform's app management page so that access is fully revoked.
FAQ
Q: After connecting a messaging channel, will all channels receive notifications automatically?
A: No. Delivery targets must be set separately in Scheduled Tasks. If no channel is specified, task results are archived only in the Library and are not pushed automatically.
Q: Can other team members also send instructions to StoreClaw through Slack?
A: That depends on your channel permissions. As long as a member is in a connected channel, they can mention @StoreClaw Bot and send a request. StoreClaw responds within the permission scope associated with that connected account.
Q: How do I disconnect a messaging channel?
A: Click Remove Configuration for the connected platform on the Messaging Channels page. It is also recommended to remove the StoreClaw Bot from the corresponding platform's app management page so the authorization is fully revoked.
