In StoreClaw, files generated by chats or scheduled tasks are archived automatically in the Library. Reports, charts, and copy drafts are synced there after they are generated, so you can find, download, or share them later.
How Files Are Organized
The Library groups files by task rather than displaying them as a flat list by file type:
- Grouped by task: Each file belongs to the chat or scheduled task that created it. Multiple versions generated by the same task are collected together for easier comparison.
- Filter by type: The filter tabs at the top let you narrow the view by All, Documents, Images, Videos, or Other.
- Search: The search box in the upper-right corner supports searches by file name or task keyword.
View and Manage Files
- Switch views: Click the icon to the right of the search box to switch between list view and grid preview. List view shows the file name, format, and creation time, which is useful for locating files by date. Grid preview shows thumbnails, which is useful for browsing images or document content.
- File actions: Click the
...button to the right of a file to:- Go to task: Jump back to the original chat that created the file and review the instruction and execution process.
- Start new chat: Start a new chat based on the file's instruction content, which is useful when you want to continue working from that file.
- Share: Generate a share link that can be opened without a StoreClaw account.
- Download: Save the file locally.
Project Library and Global Library
The Library has two access points:
- Global Library: The Library entry in the left navigation shows files from all tasks in your account.
- Project Library: Inside a specific project, the file panel on the right shows only outputs belonging to that project, which helps separate assets by business context.
These are two views of the same data. Files are not stored twice.
FAQ
Q: Are files in the Library kept permanently?
A: Files are linked to the chat or task record that created them. If that chat or task is deleted, the related files are also removed from the Library. If you need to keep a file long term, download it in advance.
Q: If I share a link with someone who does not have a StoreClaw account, can they still open it?
A: Yes. Shared chat links can be opened without signing in.
