Before you begin: Install the Social Monitor skill in the Skills page first.
This article explains how to combine scheduled tasks with the Social Monitor skill so StoreClaw can search multiple platforms for brand mentions at a set frequency and produce a priority-sorted summary with draft replies.
Note: StoreClaw does not provide true real-time listening. Each scheduled run performs one search at the time it is triggered. New content is not pushed instantly. Delivery frequency depends on the schedule you configure.
Why Use Scheduled Monitoring
Manual brand monitoring across social platforms is hard to sustain and inefficient over time. With scheduled tasks, StoreClaw can automatically handle the following on a recurring basis:
- Risk review: Each run searches for and classifies complaints and negative content, reducing the need for manual checking.
- Reply drafting: For items that need a response, StoreClaw prepares draft replies that match the tone of the platform.
- Regular summaries: Results from multiple platforms are combined into a structured report.
Workflow: From Conversation to Scheduled Task
StoreClaw can turn the analysis logic from a conversation directly into a scheduled task.
Step 1: Run an Initial Analysis
Enter a prompt in chat to understand the current state of brand mentions:
"Search the web for feedback about our brand [brand name] and list the complaints that need action."
Step 2: Convert It to a Scheduled Task
After StoreClaw generates the summary for that search, you can ask it to repeat the same process on a schedule:
"Run this search automatically every day at 6:00 PM and send the summary to my email."
Step 3: Confirm Task Parameters
StoreClaw summarizes the configuration and asks for confirmation. Check the following information:
- Prompt / Execution Instruction: Search brand-related keywords and generate a categorized summary.
- Execution Frequency: Daily.
- Execution Time: 18:00 in your time zone.
- Output path: Archive to the Library, with optional delivery to a messaging channel such as Slack or Discord.
Example Output Structure
Each time the task runs, StoreClaw performs one search and generates a summary in a structure similar to this:
[Brand Name] Monitoring Summary · 2026-04-14
- P1 - Urgent (1 item)
- Amazon: "Product arrived damaged..." -> [link]
- Suggested reply: [Click to expand]
- P2 - Follow up today (2 items)
- Reddit: User asks about size selection.
- Suggested reply: [Click to expand]
- Positive mentions (3 items)
- TikTok: High-quality unboxing video.
Manage and Adjust the Task
You can maintain created tasks at any time on the [Scheduled Tasks] page:
- Update keywords: If you add a new product line, edit the instruction to include more search terms, such as SKU names.
- Adjust frequency: During high-traffic periods, you can temporarily change the schedule from daily to every 4 hours. Keep in mind that more frequent tasks consume more credits. Refer to the usage documentation for the billing rules.
- Pause or delete: Use the switch to pause the task so StoreClaw stops running it on schedule.
- Edit in conversation: You can also ask StoreClaw directly in chat to update the task, for example: "Change the brand monitoring task to run every 12 hours" or "Add TikTok to the brand monitoring task."
Usage Note
- Review before sending: Draft replies generated by StoreClaw are reference material. Before anything is posted externally, confirm that the content is appropriate and does not include commitments you do not want to make, such as refund promises.
FAQ
Q: Can StoreClaw post the replies it drafts automatically?
A: No. StoreClaw only generates draft replies for review. Any external response must be confirmed by you before it is sent, so that it matches your brand tone and compliance requirements.
Q: Can I customize the monitoring scope?
A: Yes. When you create the task, you can specify exact search keywords such as your brand name or product model numbers. You can also update the keyword list later from the task editor.
Q: How long are monitoring summaries kept?
A: All monitoring summaries are archived automatically in your Library. Retention depends on your account plan. You can also download summary files manually for local backup.
