After connecting Amazon Ads, StoreClaw can read and manage your Amazon advertising data within the authorized scope, including advertising accounts, campaigns, ad groups, product ads, keywords, and search term data.

Once connected, you can use StoreClaw for:

  • Advertising account discovery
  • Campaign, ad group, product ad, and keyword management
  • ACoS, ROAS, and TACoS diagnostics
  • Search term review
  • Negative keyword suggestions and management

For operations involving advertising account changes, StoreClaw will display the changes and wait for your explicit confirmation before execution.

Before You Start

Before connecting, please confirm the following conditions:

  • You can sign in to StoreClaw normally.
  • You have signed in to the Amazon Seller Central or Amazon Advertising Console.
  • The current Amazon login account can access the target advertising account.
  • The target Amazon store has an active advertising account.

Note: We recommend opening and signing in to both StoreClaw and the Amazon backend in the same browser environment before starting the authorization process.
If you use a store environment browser like Purple Bird Browser, we also recommend completing the StoreClaw and Amazon sign-in in the same browser environment.

Security Note: The Amazon Ads connection uses Amazon's OAuth authorization flow. StoreClaw does not obtain or store your Amazon login password and will only access and manage advertising data within the scope you authorize.

Connection Process

Connecting Amazon Ads typically requires 4 steps:

  1. Open the Connectors page in StoreClaw.
  2. Find Amazon Ads under the Marketing tab and click the + button.
  3. Complete authorization on the Amazon authorization page.
  4. Return to StoreClaw and confirm that Amazon Ads shows as connected.

Step 1: Open the Amazon Ads Connector

  1. Sign in to StoreClaw.
  2. Click Connectors in the left navigation bar.
  3. Find Amazon Ads under the Marketing tab.
  4. Click the + button on the Amazon Ads card.

Select Amazon Ads on Connectors page

Step 2: Enter Amazon Authorization Page

In the pop-up Amazon Ads connector window, choose the region your store belongs to under SELECT REGION in the card. Three regions are currently supported: North America, Europe, and Far East:

  • North America: Covers marketplaces such as the US, Canada, Mexico, and Brazil.
  • Europe: Covers marketplaces such as the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, the UAE, and Saudi Arabia.
  • Far East: Covers marketplaces such as Japan, Australia, and Singapore.

After authorization is complete, StoreClaw automatically pulls advertising data from all marketplaces accessible to the current Amazon account within that region. You do not need to authorize each marketplace in the same region separately. Note: Each region maps to an Amazon Advertising API endpoint, so choosing the wrong region will prevent StoreClaw from retrieving the corresponding marketplace data. The specific marketplaces supported within a region are listed under SUPPORTED MARKETPLACES: in the modal — follow the wording shown on the actual page.

Then click Connect Amazon Ads.

Step 3: Complete Amazon Authorization

On the Amazon authorization page, complete the authorization according to the page prompts.

The Amazon authorization page may appear in different versions. You can operate according to the actual page.

Old Authorization Page

If the page displays Click "Allow" to Sign-In to StoreClaw., please click Allow.

Old Amazon authorization page click Allow

New Authorization Page

If the page asks you to select an authorization scope, we usually recommend selecting All current and future accounts.

With this option, all advertising accounts that the current Amazon account can access now and in the future will be authorized to StoreClaw.

If you only want to authorize some advertising accounts, you can select Only selected accounts and then manually select the stores to authorize.

This option is usually applicable in the following cases:

  • You only want to connect some advertising accounts.
  • You need to check which stores the current Amazon account can authorize.
  • You have already selected All current and future accounts, but some stores have not completed authorization.

After selecting the permission scope on the Select user permissions page, click Next to continue.

Note: The button names, permission names, and account scopes on the Amazon authorization page may vary by region, account type, or page version. Please refer to the actual page display.

Step 4: Confirm Connection Status

After authorization is complete, the page will automatically redirect back to StoreClaw.

After returning to StoreClaw, please check the status of the Amazon Ads card on the Connectors page:

  • If it shows Connected, the Amazon Ads connection is complete.
  • If the connection is still not successful, please refer to the troubleshooting section below.

Troubleshooting Authorization Failures

Page Shows "No Amazon Ads profile is available"

If the authorization page shows:

No Amazon Ads profile is available for this account. Open Amazon Advertising Console and confirm the merchant has at least one active advertising profile (Sponsored Ads / DSP), then reconnect.

Please check the following items one by one.

1. Check if StoreClaw and Amazon are Signed In in the Same Browser

Please confirm that you are signed in to both the StoreClaw website and the Amazon Seller Central / Amazon Advertising Console in the same browser.

For example, if you open StoreClaw in Google Chrome but the Amazon Seller Central is open in Purple Bird Browser, the authorization may fail across browsers.

We recommend opening and signing in to the following websites in the same browser before reattempting the authorization:

  • Amazon Seller Central or Amazon Advertising Console

Note: If you need to open both StoreClaw and the Amazon Seller Central in Purple Bird Browser, the first time you open StoreClaw in Purple Bird Browser, it may automatically block the URL because it is not on the browser's whitelist. You can submit a domain whitelist application in Purple Bird Browser, with the StoreClaw domain being https://www.storeclaw.ai/. If it is not approved in special cases, we recommend contacting Purple Bird Browser customer support for manual assistance.

2. Check if the Amazon Login Account Has Admin Permissions

Please confirm that the account you use to log in to the Amazon Seller Central is the primary account or at least has the admin permissions required for the advertising account.

You can check the current account's permission scope in the Amazon Seller Central by going to:

Settings -> User Permissions -> Users

If the current account does not have sufficient permissions, please contact the primary account owner to grant the relevant permissions before reauthorizing.

3. Check if the Amazon Store Has an Active Advertising Account

Please confirm that the target Amazon store has an active advertising account and that it is in normal status.

You can check this in the Amazon backend by going to:

Seller Central -> Campaign Manager

Generally, an advertising account needs at least $1 in spending to be more easily recognized as an active advertising account.

FAQ

Q: After authorizing my advertising account, is there a risk of being flagged by Amazon's risk control?

A: No. StoreClaw uses Amazon's OAuth authorization flow to connect Amazon Ads and does not obtain or store your Amazon login password. After authorization is complete, StoreClaw will only access advertising data within the scope you authorize. For operations involving advertising account changes, StoreClaw will display the changes and wait for your explicit confirmation.

Q: Will StoreClaw automatically modify my advertising account?

A: No. StoreClaw will not arbitrarily modify your advertising account without confirmation. All change operations will first display the specific content, and StoreClaw will only perform the operations after you explicitly confirm execution.

Q: Why can't I connect to Amazon Ads?

A: Please first check the following three items:

  • Whether StoreClaw and Amazon are signed in in the same browser environment.
  • Whether the current Amazon account has management permissions for the target advertising account.
  • Whether the target store has activated and enabled Amazon Ads.

If you still cannot complete the connection, please contact customer support at the bottom right corner of the StoreClaw website for manual assistance.
