In StoreClaw, you can start tasks such as store analysis, competitor research, social content planning, or monitoring workflows directly from a chat.
Send Instructions Through Chat
Describe what you need in the chat box. You do not need to configure tools or choose a mode in advance.
- Choose a specific skill: Type
/to manually select a skill from the list. This is useful when you already know which skill you want to use. You can also describe your request directly, and StoreClaw will match the relevant skill automatically. - Use live data: If you have already connected a store or account through a Plugin, StoreClaw reads the authorized data directly when answering your question. You do not need to paste reports manually.
- Use your local browser: If the StoreClaw Chrome Extension is set up, you can also ask StoreClaw to open pages, read page content, or perform browser actions directly.
- Track execution: For more complex tasks, StoreClaw shows progress step by step, such as "Scanning Amazon reviews." If the task is heading in the wrong direction, you can interrupt it in the chat box and restate your request at any time.
Understand StoreClaw Results
After a task finishes, StoreClaw presents the result in different formats depending on the content:
- Charts: Data analysis tasks can generate visual charts.
- Report files: More complex analysis tasks create structured reports in HTML or Markdown format, including data summaries, findings, and recommendations. Reports are automatically archived to the Library, where they can be downloaded or shared at any time.
- Draft content: For copywriting or reply-generation tasks, StoreClaw returns drafts that you can use directly. Copy them as needed, or continue refining them in the chat.
- Alerts: When StoreClaw detects an operational issue, such as a cluster of negative reviews or low stock, it highlights it in the chat. Click the alert item to expand details, then continue with follow-up questions or next-step instructions.
Save and Manage Chat Results
Results do not disappear when the chat ends:
- Automatic archiving: Reports, charts, and other generated files are synced automatically to the Library. No manual save step is required.
- Project assignment: When a chat is started inside a Project, its outputs are assigned to that project automatically, which makes them easier to find by business context.
- Turn it into a scheduled task: If the analysis is worth repeating regularly, tell StoreClaw, "Run this for me every morning," and the current chat flow can be converted into a scheduled task.
Manage Chats
In the chat list on the left, hover over any chat and click the ... button on the right to perform these actions:
- Share: Generate a share link for the chat. The recipient does not need a StoreClaw account to view it.
- Rename: Change the display name of the chat to make it easier to identify in the list.
- Delete: Permanently delete the chat and its output files. This action cannot be undone.
FAQ
Q: Why didn't StoreClaw do what I expected?
A: The three most common reasons are that the relevant skill is not enabled, the required connector account under the corresponding Plugin is not connected or has been disconnected, or the task depends on browser interaction and the StoreClaw Chrome Extension has not been connected yet. Check the switch in the Skills page and confirm the necessary data source is connected. You can also use / to choose a skill manually and reduce matching errors.
Q: Can I change the chart format that StoreClaw just generated?
A: Yes. Describe the change in the chat box, for example, "Change this to a line chart" or "Add another comparison dimension," and StoreClaw will regenerate it in the current chat.
