What Are Credits?
Credits are the unit StoreClaw uses to measure usage. Most task-generation actions you start in StoreClaw consume credits, such as product description generation, listing optimization, and competitor analysis.
Before going into the detailed rules, it helps to keep the following in mind:
- Credits are not cash: Credits cannot be converted into cash refunds, transferred between accounts, or used outside the StoreClaw platform.
- Different credit types follow different rules: Credit types differ in refresh behavior, validity period, and issuance mechanism.
- Credit consumption for the same kind of task is not fixed: Credit usage varies with output complexity, so we do not publish a fixed price list in advance (see How Credits Are Consumed).
- You do not need to choose which credit type to spend: StoreClaw deducts credits automatically based on a defined priority order to reduce the chance of near-expiration credits going unused.
Four Credit Types
| Type | Source | Refresh Method | Accumulates? | Consumption Order |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Daily refresh credits | Automatically granted within the plan | Refresh to the daily allowance at 00:00 UTC each day | No — unused credits expire at the end of the day | 1 (consumed first) |
| Monthly credits | Automatically granted within the plan | Refresh at the start of each billing cycle | No — unused credits expire at the end of the cycle | 2 |
| Event credits | Platform promotions, referral rewards, etc. | Issued by batch | Each batch has its own validity period; some batches (e.g., referral rewards) are permanent | 3 |
| Free credits | Granted by the StoreClaw platform | One-time grant | Yes — permanently valid | 4 (consumed last) |
Daily Refresh Credits
Daily refresh credits are the plan's day-to-day allowance. They automatically reset to the amount defined by your plan every day and are intended to support steady daily usage.
Daily refresh credits do not roll over to the next day. Any unused amount expires at the end of the day, which is why StoreClaw gives these credits a relatively high spending priority.
Monthly Credits
Monthly credits are the larger allowance within the plan. They are granted in one batch at the start of each billing cycle and are suitable for heavier usage scenarios such as batch tasks, campaigns, or especially busy periods.
Monthly credits do not roll over to the next billing cycle. Any unused amount expires when the current cycle ends.
Event Credits
Event credits come from several sources, such as user referrals, and platform promotional campaigns. Each batch of event credits follows its own issuance rules. Promotional campaigns usually have an expiration date, while referral rewards are generally permanently valid.
If you hold multiple batches of event credits at the same time, StoreClaw prioritizes the batch that expires the soonest to reduce the chance of credits expiring unused.
Free Credits
Free credits are credits granted directly to your account by StoreClaw, such as new-user sign-up benefits. They are not tied to a subscription plan or event batch, remain permanently valid, and do not expire because of cancellation or billing-cycle changes.
How Credits Are Consumed
Task-generation actions started in StoreClaw generally consume credits, including AI-powered tasks such as content generation, listing optimization, competitor analysis, and campaign copy generation.
The number of credits consumed by a single task is not fixed. It varies based on output complexity, such as content length or the number of items being analyzed. For that reason, we do not publish a fixed per-task price list in advance.
After each task is completed, you can review the exact deduction in Settings -> Usage under Usage Record.
View Balance and Usage History
To view your current balance and historical usage:
- Sign in to StoreClaw.
- Click your avatar in the lower-left corner.
- Select Settings -> Usage.
On the Usage page, you can view:
- Current subscription plan: Including the next renewal date and monthly fee

Usage history export is not currently supported.
What Happens If You Run Out of Credits?
When all four credit types reach zero, you cannot start new tasks that require credits until credits are refreshed or replenished.
There are two ways to restore available credits:
- Wait for the next refresh: Daily credits refresh at 00:00 UTC on the following day, and monthly credits are granted at the start of the next billing cycle.
- Upgrade your plan: Higher-tier plans provide larger daily and monthly credit allowances. See Subscription Management for details.
FAQ
Q: Do daily refresh credits roll over to the next day?
A: No. Daily credits reset to your plan allowance at 00:00 UTC each day, and any unused amount expires at the end of that day.
Q: Do monthly credits roll over to the next billing cycle?
A: No. Monthly credits are valid only within the current billing cycle. Any unused amount expires when the cycle ends.
Q: In what order are my credits consumed?
A: StoreClaw consumes credits in the following order:
- Daily refresh credits — Prioritized for consumption. Unused quota expires daily
- Monthly credits — the standard allowance included in your plan
- Event credits — Issued from referral and promotional activities, subject to respective validity periods
- Free credits — Permanent validity, consumed last
You cannot manually choose which credit type to spend in a single action. StoreClaw handles the deduction automatically.
Q: What happens to my credits after I cancel or downgrade my plan?
A: Daily credits and monthly credits stop refreshing after the current billing cycle ends, though credits already granted during the current cycle remain available until the end of that cycle. Event credits and free credits remain available according to their own rules — free credits remain permanently valid, while event credits remain subject to the validity period of each batch.
For more details about cancellation and downgrades, see Subscription Management.
Q: Why did this task consume more credits than I expected?
A: StoreClaw does not publish a fixed per-task price list because credit usage varies with the complexity of the AI output. For example, longer output or analysis across more items typically consumes more credits.
To review the specific deduction, go to Settings -> Usage -> Usage History and locate the corresponding record.
Q: Can I export my usage history?
A: Not at the moment. Credit change details can currently be viewed only online through the Usage page.
Q: Can credits be transferred to another account?
A: No. Credits are bound to the account that received them and cannot be transferred or gifted.
A: 不会。
A: 不会。
A: 不能。
