With the Facebook connector, StoreClaw can access Page data and perform authorized publishing or management actions within the scope of the Facebook Pages you approve when you trigger those actions in chat or through a scheduled task.

Before You Connect

Before you begin, confirm the following:

  • The Facebook account you use must be an admin of the target Facebook Page. Editor permission is not sufficient.
  • The Facebook account must have two-factor authentication enabled, as required by the Meta API security policy.

What the Connector Does

The Facebook connector provides the following capabilities:

  • Read data: StoreClaw can read Page engagement metrics for analysis and reporting.
  • Manage Pages: After authorization, StoreClaw skills can manage Page posts and ad-related content within the allowed scope.
  • Keep access controlled: Authorization follows Meta's official OAuth flow, and you can revoke access at any time.

Connect Facebook

Start the Connection Flow

  1. In the left navigation of StoreClaw, click Connectors.
  2. Under the Social Media category, find the Facebook card and click it.
  3. In the pop-up window, review the connection details and click the black Connect Facebook -> button.

Complete Official Authorization

  1. The system redirects you to the official Facebook sign-in page.
  2. Sign in: Enter the Facebook account and password for the Page administrator account.
  3. Confirm permissions: On the authorization page, select the Facebook Pages that you want StoreClaw to manage.

Return to StoreClaw

  1. After authorization is complete, the page automatically returns to StoreClaw.
  2. Verify status: When the Facebook card shows Connected with a green border and checkmark icon, the data channel is active.

What You Can Do After Connecting

After the connection succeeds, StoreClaw can handle Facebook Page tasks within the authorized scope when you request them explicitly or include them in a scheduled task:

Publish content When you ask StoreClaw to do so, it can publish text-and-image posts, videos, and album posts. You can also schedule posts, adjust publishing schedules, and republish content. This is useful for product launches, routine content calendars, and draft publishing.

Manage engagement When requested, StoreClaw can reply to comments, like comments, and delete spam comments. This can also be paired with scheduled tasks for routine comment review or batch cleanup.

Handle direct messages When requested, StoreClaw can read Page inbox conversations, reply to messages, and mark messages as read. This is useful for customer support workflows such as pre-sales inquiries and after-sales follow-up.

Analyze performance When you ask for analysis, StoreClaw can read Page-level metrics such as reach, engagement, and follower growth, as well as post-level performance. This helps identify content patterns that perform well and supports content strategy adjustments.

Manage published content When requested, StoreClaw can view, edit, or delete published posts, and retrieve the list of scheduled posts. This is useful for bulk copy updates or clearing expired promotional content.

Note: These operations are supported only for Facebook Pages, not personal accounts.

FAQ

Q: Why does Facebook show "Login information is incorrect" when I sign in?

A: Check that the account and password are correct. If they are correct and the error still appears, Facebook may be blocking the login as a risk-control measure because it looks like an unfamiliar sign-in. Try signing in to Facebook first in another browser tab, then return to StoreClaw and try again.

Q: Is it safe to connect Facebook?

A: StoreClaw only requests permissions related to managing Facebook Pages. It cannot read your private personal messages, friend list, or private timeline content. You can also revoke access in Facebook's authorization settings at any time.

Q: If I manage multiple Pages, can I authorize only one of them?

A: Yes. In the Facebook authorization dialog, you can choose exactly which Pages to connect.

A: 可以。在 Facebook 的授权弹窗中,您可以精确勾选想要关联的主页。
